"The redevelopment of the third and last site at CFB Calgary is well-underway: the 200-acre (80.9 hectare) Currie Barracks site in Calgary, Alberta. About 700 people toured the new Currie Barracks single-family show homes built by Canada Lands Company's builder-partners when the show home parade was launched, in early February 2011.

Currie Barracks has been among the most eager-anticipated new communities in Calgary. While still based on the principles of smart growth and sustainable community design, the vision for Currie Barracks will build on Canada Lands Company's previous experience in Garrison Woods and Garrison Green to create an even denser community with a richer mix of land uses, housing types, and servicing innovations to achieve a more complete and integrated community.

At full development, Currie Barracks is expected to accommodate approximately 3,200 housing units of various types, 225,000 ft2 (20,903 m2) of retail space on a European-style "High Street." Also, about 300,000 ft2 (27,871 m2) of office space occurs in the development, spread across a number of existing buildings around Parade Square, and in new space above the "High Street" retail space. This is addition to a private school, and close to 23 acres of parks and open space.

In the fall of 2010, CLC formally dedicated two commemorative parks in the first phase of Currie Barracks: Valour Park and Victoria Cross Park. These parks pay tribute to Canada's military and to those who served their country during the Second World War."
