Interior renovations
Minor touch-ups, renewal of carpet, wall painting and countertop replacement can be done without a notification, but if you are undertaking wall modifications, electricity or plumbing changes, or if you are changing flooring, then you must submit a plan to the board for approval through Montgomery Ross.
Work is not allowed before 8:30 am or after 6 pm on weekdays and not allowed at all on the weekends or holidays.
Please be aware of the noise you make during construction and how it will affect your neighbors. If you are going to be particularly noisy, you can let your neighbors below and beside you know this is going to happen so they don't complain.
FLOOR REPLACEMENT
If you are replacing any flooring (including replacing carpeting with hardwood flooring, as well as replacing the ceramic tiles), you must follow our noise abatement policy.
Contact C-Era Property Management & Realty, or visit Documents section of this website to obtain a copy.
Please note that even with approval of your new flooring by C-Era Property Management & Realty or the Board of Directors, you are still responsible to your neighbors for any unwelcome noise. The Board reserves the right to require you to take remedial measures (such as the use of area rugs) if there are complaints.
WINDOW DRESSING
All window material must appear white on the outside. If you hang colored drapes for instance, they must have white lining facing the street.
COLLECTION OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND DEBRIS
All construction materials and debris are to be taken off site. Nothing is to be disposed of in our bins. You are responsible for any construction dust or debris left in the halls.
BOOKING AN ELEVATOR
The elevator must be booked with the Liberté site office to bring large deliveries of construction materials up to the suite. If it is a small delivery you can make arrangements with the Liberté office for use of the elevator at no charge. Contact the site office at 403-263-1505
