I am looking to rent a room out in my house in Evanston. I am looking for a professional and responsible tenant. There are three bedrooms upstairs separated by a bonus room. The smaller third bedroom is being turned into an office.

It is a quiet household and I'm not looking to host parties. I'd prefer mature student or working professional. My home is a long term investment and I'm looking for someone who I can trust to look after my property when I'm not home. There maybe a possibility of me traveling for work and you would have the place to yourself during this time. Last time I travelled for work I was gone for two years. And had an excellent renter taking care of the house. I would sometimes fly back and visit friends on the weekends every once in awhile.

If you're looking for a quiet place to rest at night, without worrying about late nights keeping you up. This is the place.

The room is unfurnished, you would also have the den separating the bedroom, so you would have your own living space, with a shared kitchen downstairs.

Please note, that the bathroom maybe shared should there be guests in the house. Otherwise the upstairs bathroom is completely yours. During my 10 years of ownership, I have travelled to visit family and the bathroom has never had to be shared. Due to covid, this room has not been rented in 3 years. This is not a house that rotates through renters.

There is young female cat that maybe in the house, about 10 year old. Pets are not allowed. If I am traveling long term for work, she will be with me so no need to worry about being stuck looking after her.

I would like to note, this is a owner shared residence. If you look closely at some of the ads in the city, they are owned by the same person who owns several homes and rents out all the rooms in each house.
