Share this beautiful 2 story detached house with large back deck, front veranda, kitchen with walk in pantry, side by side fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, pots, pans, utensils, etc, furnished living room and dining room, and extra 1/2 bath all located on the main level of the house. Plus front load washer and dryer on top level of the house.

There are 3 bedrooms on the top level of the house. The master bedroom at the back of the house is rented to Sam for more than 3 years now; a young professional. The 2nd upstairs front bedroom is rented to Lynn; a young professional The smallest upstairs bedroom is used only 2 weeks per year by the owners when visiting. Both Sam and Lynn will be helping with selecting and approving you as the newest housemate.

House is 2 minutes from the main #3 Bus route; Park with tennis courts and skating rink is 1/2 block; Elbow Drive to Downtown is a 10 minute ride; rush hour buses every four minutes. Commuting via Glenmore Trail is 3 minutes on Elbow Drive. Walk to Britannia & Sunterra , Monograms , Starbucks, and Brown's Social Club in 3 minutes; Walk to Chinook Mall in 10 minutes. What is the intent of this arrangement? Respectful people who enjoy living quietly together in the house. Owners keep the smallest upstairs bedroom in the house for themselves to visit approx 2 weeks per year from Penticton, BC.

Who is renting here? The monthly rent is intended for one housemate only. The housemate has private use of his/her bedroom and bathroom and shares the common areas respectively with the other 2 people living in house.

What about guests? Guests must be approved by other 2 housemates and owners and are limited to visiting for a maximum of 3 nights per month.

What does the rent include? Rent includes: Heat, hot & cold water; & power ; shared use of veranda, decks, living room, kitchen, dining and laundry.

What about parking? Street parking is available for free. Parking is available in the double car garage @ $75/month for ½ the garage space. The master bedroom housemate rents 1/2 the garage at $75/month.

What about house cleaning? Dishes are to be cleaned and put away within 1 hour of cooking a meal and counters wiped. Cleaning of house, like vacumning and bathroom cleaning is organised mutually; and done at least weekly and thoroughly.

What about sharing the fridge/freezer and pantry? Each housemate will share the fridge/freezer equally and have a designated shelf in fridge and pantry.

What about the lawn and snow clearing? Lawn must be done weekly and snow clearing done immediately. If a snow clearing fine is received by the city, it will be split equally among tenants.

Quiet time; Between 11pm and 7am. No laundry to be done during quiet time. Prefer tenants who sleep between 11pm and 7am so housemates are on the same schedule.
