Power Properties Ltd. was founded in 1980 by David W. Palmer; a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (FRI) and a Certified Property Manager (CPM). These designations represent the highest levels of education in the Real Estate and Property Management fields. David applied the high ideals and standards of those designations to every aspect of Power Properties; to ensure you and your property receive the very best care and service possible. That vision of excellence spans two generations as Jamie Palmer now heads Power Properties. Jamie Palmer spent close to a decade learning every facet of the company before taking over as President and Broker of Power Properties in 2011.

We are fully licensed with the Real Estate Council of Alberta, and hold memberships in such organizations as the Calgary Real Estate Board (MLS), the Alberta Real Estate Association, the Better Business Bureau of Calgary, the Institute of Real Estate Management, and the Real Estate Institute of Canada.

Non-Resident Tax Administration - We are fully conversant with the requirements of Canada Customs and Revenue regarding the rental by non-residents, and ensure that you do not run afoul of the rules.

Insurance - Getting adequate insurance on your home while it is rented can be expensive, if available at all. We have a Master Insurance Policy available for our clients and tenants which provide superior coverage at very reasonable rates.

Staffing - A full complement of staff enables us to properly meet your needs. With five property managers and five assistants working under the President and General Manager, Power Properties has the work force and backup necessary to make sure your property receives the proper care even when there is an absence due to illness or vacation. Our employees bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the care and management of your home; in fact, the majority of our property managers have over ten years experience and some have two decades of experience. We also have our own web administrator. In addition to our front line staff, we have a full time accountant and an accounts payable and receivable department to handle all of the financial recording and reporting for your properties.

To ensure your property gets the maximum exposure whether it is for rent or sale we have nine full time, committed and fully licensed Realtors.
