Once part of the Township of March, this area remained mostly agricultural until the 1960s when, like the rest of Kanata, certain sections were developed by Bill Teron. Other sections such as Morgan’s Grant have only recently begun to be developed. This neighbourhood also includes the Kanata North Business Park, which was referred to as Silicon Valley North during the high-tech boom of the 1990s.
