Fairfield Community Information

Fairfield is located to the southeast of downtown and is bounded by diverse natural features and historic buildings.

To the west is Victoria's treasured Beacon Hill Park and to the south lie waterfront parks and walkways along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Fairfield is also home to Cook Street Village, a lively and quaint commercial area drawing many to its unique atmosphere and small local shops.

This neighbourhood boasts a vibrant weekly summer market, the Moss Street Market, and is home to the historic Ross Bay Cemetery, the last resting place of many of the region's founding fathers, and renown artist Emily Carr.

The rich inventory of heritage homes on tree-lined streets, its many beaches including the picturesque Gonzales Bay, and proximity to downtown and cycling pathways make Fairfield a wonderful place to live, work and visit.
